Qualifications / Requirements:•Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent ; Office Administration certificate preferred •Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in an Administrative Assistant capacity (Or an equivalent combination of education and experience) •Professionalism in handling confidential or sensitive information •A high level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion •Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal communication skills, a superior telephone manner, a strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude •Ability to work well with all levels of internal staff and external stakeholders •Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Applications •Proven organizational and time management skills •Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, completing work accurately and timely •Detail oriented, adaptable, with excellent problem solving skills

Northlands is actively seeking a dynamic Receptionist with excellent communication skills who is passionate about customer service. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and operational support for all departments and will report to the Executive Assistant. •Answering incoming telephone calls through switchboard and relay the calls politely and promptly •Responding to inquiries, determining and taking appropriate action as required •Advising staff when their appointments arrive and directing visitors to appropriate people and/or locations •Maintaining knowledge for Northlands events and contacts •Performing office duties including, but not limited to, handling of incoming and outgoing mail and assisting in the preparation of mail outs as required •Distributing all pick-ups and receiving courier mail •Liaising with courier companies to ensure efficient handling of courier requests •Preparing and accurately updating staff phone directory •Creating and entering data into tables, reports, or spreadsheets •Drafting and/or generating routine communications; coordinating production (formatting, copying, etc.) and distributing documents, such as spreadsheets, presentations and reports •Arranging meetings and assisting with routine conferences including scheduling rooms, managing equipment, ordering catering and assembling materials •Maintaining office supplies and equipment •Creating and maintaining filing systems Please complete our on-line application form:
