Skills Portfolio Breakfast

The Sherwood Park & District Chamber of Commerce Education Committee would like to invite you to the 2011 Student Skills Portfolio Breakfast which will be held at Festival Place on
Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 7 am.
 
Speaker: Honourable Ed Stelmach, Premier of Alberta

Honourable Ed Stelmach will address students and attendees to strive to be and do their best no matter what hurdles they have faced in their past or may face in their future. The Premier will tell the story of his own personal challenges in his life and what it has taken to overcome obstacles to get where he is today.
 
Tickets: $40/person plus gst or $225.00 plus gst for a table of 6
(Each table will host 2 students who will share their portfolios with the six others at each table).
 
The breakfast raises funds for the Chamber’s Student Skills Portfolio Program, which provides a binder and materials to high school students participating in the CALM course in the Elk Island Public & Elk Island Catholic School Divisions.  These binders provide a framework for students to organize and present their academic, personal and employment achievements to future employers and post secondary institutions.
